A loan helped to raise cows to sell.

Kotognogontala Group's story

Balla is the man holding on to the rope attached to the cow in the photo. He is 27 years old and married; his wife is a housewife. Balla did not go to school. He is now father to three children, one boy is at school and the others are two and seven years old respectively. He has been raising cows for more than four years now and he gets his animals in the surrounding markets.

Balla has been a customer of RMCR since 2013 and is on his fifth loan cycle; according to him he much appreciates the services of RMCR. His profits on the sale of his animals can vary between 50,000 and 90,000 FCFA. With his profits he is able to provide for his family's needs, such as health cover, clothing and food. Balla would like in the future to have more money so he can buy more cows and food for his livestock.
