Grupo Pochol 2 Group's story

Miguel is an optimistic man who work day to day to provide his family with their needs. He is 41 years old, single, and has four children between the ages of 8 and 14. This humble family lives in the town of Pochol. Miguel (the first one on the left in the photograph) works growing coffee, which he has done for 20 years, in order to make a living. However, in order to supplement his earnings, he also sells bananas. With the hope of producing a good coffee harvest this year, he has decided to seek a loan to purchase agricultural supplies and pay for labor. He is seeking this loan because he does not currently have the capital needed for these expenses. Miguel hopes to improve his family's financial situation.
