A loan helped To purchase a special refrigerator for her newly opened store.

Olgha's story

Olgha is 41 years old, from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. She has two small sons and her mother, who is a teacher and gets 300 GEL monthly. Up until now, her salary was the only source of income for this four-member family and they found it hard to cover all daily expenses. Because of the above mentioned situation, Olgha lacks the access to capital markets and financial institutions to obtain credit for starting a business, as they require stable income and business experience. With the family's saved money Olgha has just opened a general store locally. She already has loyal customers and gets significant income. The Start Up program created by Kiva and Credo enabled her to get a loan of 2100 USD for purchasing a special refrigerator for her general store, which is a very essential thing to satisfy all her customers' needs.

Olgha will be very thankful for the financial support and kindness as her business will proceed in a more profitable way and she will make a better style of life for her children.
