Amneh's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy food such as meat, spices, and cooking oil to sell, and to buy more cleaning materials.

Amneh's story

For two years, Amneh has been running a small business with help from her husband, making and selling "maftool" that is used in one of the Jordanian dishes.

She lives in Irbid which is one of the cities that has been economically affected by the Syrian crisis.

Amneh is a 39-year-old woman. She dreams of improving her business to support the needs of her children and give them a better education. She dreams of succeeding in her business, in order to prepare and save money for the future, so she started making big quantities of maftool to sell the near grocery stores. Now she has opened her small independent shop that needs a lot of decoration and goods to turn it into a mini market, but for now she is selling food that she makes, and has added selling basic detergents to housewives in the neighborhood.

To continue her business, she wants to get a loan to buy food such as meat, spices, and cooking oil to sell, and to use the loan to buy more cleaning materials to sell so she can increase her income and improve the standard of living for her family.
