A loan helped Increase her stock of drinks.

Aide's story

Aide is 55 years old. She's a single mother and lives with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. For two years she's sold drinks in a space she prepared in her house by arranging a small piece of furniture to serve as a counter. She only takes care of this business on Saturdays and Sundays because she's been working as a secretary in an institution for 27 years. Her son and daughter-in-law are in charge of the business during the week, and she runs it on the weekends. It's very profitable because it's in a good location, and her cold drinks are sold every day. In the future she'd like to expand this business by selling food or distributing beer to other businesses nearby. This is her sixth loan with MFP. Her communal bank is called "Trabajando juntos" (Working Together), and she enjoys being part of it because the members are very responsible. She will use the requested loan to purchase more drinks and stock her business in order to increase her sales.
