Carlos Alberto's story

Carlos Alberto is 41 years old and is in a common-law marriage. He lives in his own house with his life partner and son in the Oyotun district of Chiclayo Province, which is in the department of Lambayeque in rural Peru. Most people in this region work in agriculture, trade, and livestock.

Carlos Alberto works in the agricultural sector as a day laborer. He has his own tools such as a backpack sprayer, shovel, pickaxe and sickle. He also has a motorcycle which is his means of transport to where he works. He has been doing this work for more than five years.

He is asking for a loan so he can do repairs on his house and to perform maintenance on his motorcycle. This investment will put his equipment in better working order which will have a positive impact on his ability to work. It will increase his productivity and allow him to better tend to the diverse needs of the people in his region.

Carlos Alberto is a repeat borrower and member of Edpyme Alternative. He has had two loans of 1000.00 PEN each and has paid them back punctually.
