Liliane Olivette's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, notebooks, pens, velum paper, and dried legumes.

Liliane Olivette's story

Liliane is 46 years old. She is a resourceful woman who lives in a rural area. Her secondary activity is growing vegetables. Her husband is a mason. They have four children aged 18, 15, 13, and 10, all enrolled in school.

Liliane opened her general store in 2008. The range of products was still not diversified. Because of the spike in prices when she replenishes her stocks, she turned to this loan to help her grow her inventory. The products she plans to buy with the loan funds are those that are most often required by her customers at present. The loan will allow her to buy staple goods (oil, sugar, juice, rice), local produce (dried beans and Cape peas), and school supplies (notebooks, pens, and reams of paper).

Liliane's dream is to become a wholesaler supplying all the grocery stores and general stores in her area.
