Meerkan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase construction materials to build a temporary house.
Meerkan is 60 and married with four children. She has a high school education and is retired, and farms as an additional source of income. Her family is happy and gets along very well and everyone helps with the farm. She currently has two cows, 30 sheep and two horses as well as 3.33 hectares of land where she grows beans and keeps fruit trees. Her monthly income is 18,900 KGS, and she tries to invest profits back into the business. This year, having consulted with her family, Meerkan has decided to build a temporary house, and therefore she has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 50,000 KGS to purchase building materials. She will put profits into further developing her business and into improving her family's living conditions.
