Kenzhekan's story

Kenzhekan is 47 years old, married, raising two children with her husband. She has completed higher education, currently works as an elementary school teacher. Since 1998 she has been breeding livestock. She owns 5 cows and 22 sheep, and also cultivates fruit for household consumption. Her monthly income is 20,000 som (KGS). To further develop her business, Kenzhekan turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS) to purchase calves and resell them. Hay and barns are already prepared for the winter. Kenzhekan wants to invest the borrowed money to further develop her business.
