A loan helped to buy seeds and supplies to plant her agricultural terrain in order to achieve all her familial goals.

Celinda's story

Celinda is a farmer with many years working in the field. She didn't finish school because from a very young age she began to work helping her parents. She only went to elementary school. She says that as a young girl she suffered a lot, as she came from a large, humble family. She had many siblings, who also dropped out of school due to lack of economic resources. She says that her father died when she was very young, leaving them alone. She, as the oldest sister, had to work to help her mother be able to move her siblings forward until they were older and could be responsible for themselves.

When she was 38 years old she married Juan, and they had two children. She wanted to have more, but her age precluded her from having more children. That's why she works. She wants to succeed in order to give her children a better future. For that reason she supports her children, to have a better future. Her dream is that her children go to college, study a career, and become professionals. Today she needs a loan to buy seeds and supplies to plant her agricultural terrain which is her source of work, in order to fulfill all her familial goals.
