A loan helped to buy buffalo for her dairy farm.

Shazia's story

Shazia is 27 and a mother of three children. Living with her spouse and children in the area of Multan, Pakistan, she engages in dairy farming to earn an income. She started her farm 12 years ago because she wanted to help her husband support the family and meet the household expenses. On her small dairy farm, she has buffalo and cows that produce milk, which she sells in her town. Through breeding her buffalo, her husband has been increasing his herd over the years.

Shazia wants to buy buffalo for her dairy farm to earn a proper income, but due to insufficient financial means she is unable to. She has decided that she would like to increase the number of buffalo on her dairy farm so that she can earn better profits for her family. She has become an expert in dairy farming. So, Shazia has requested a loan so she will be able to buy buffalo.

Shazia will be thankful to Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
