Don Chichi Group's story

Victoria is a 25 year old woman, she lives with her partner and has a three year old child. Her business is in food sales. She is a good mother, who is hard working, and very optimistic.

She works in the 'Mutualista' zone, a central area where the majority of public and private offices sit side by side.

Victoria has a dark complexion, black hair and is pregnant. (She is on the far right, wearing a red jacket.) She shares her life with her partner who works in construction, and her baby who is not yet school age. They live in rented accomodation, which is built from brick and is supplied with all the basic utilities.

The necessity to improve her business has led her to set up a bank of people who own businesses such as: car body shop, second hand clothes sales, cosmetic sales, natural products sales, local store, sports clothing making, and bed sheet sales.

Victoria's business is in food sales, and her speciality is 'locro', a soup made from charque (dried meat), meat chopped into small pieces, cassava and egg. It is a traditional meal and is very popular, "it is a unique, delicious dish, which is typical of the east..." she says. The advantage of the business is that it is open every day, but the disadvantage is the lack of money to buy ingredients such as meat, egg, oil etc.

Her dream is to improve her business before her child is born, she wishes to buy cooking supplies wholesale so that she can work without interruptions. This is her first loan cycle with the institution in the year that she has been working with this business.

This is why Victoria is requesting a loan to buy cooking supplies wholesale to be able to cook every day.
