Renacer Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase spaghetti and sugar at wholesale to sell.

Renacer Group's story

The "Rebirth" communal association is initiating its 36th loan cycle in Pro Mujer, through their Central Office in Villa Adela. The group is composed of eight members and is administered by a board of directors with Mrs. Ascencia as its President. The businesses the members are advancing are varied: among them are selling hose, groceries, condiments, clothing, furniture, hardware, shoes and artifacts.

The loan which Ascencia is presently taking out will augment her capital, allowing her to buy spaghetti and sugar at wholesale. She will acquire these from wholesalers in the city of El Alto and, later, sell them at her market stall. This form of work permits Ascencia to generate resources to aid her family economically, since she is a widow with a son.

When asked what she likes best about Pro Mujer, Ascencia responded that she likes the training and the savings account that the institution offers.
