Susa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional inventory of dry goods, grocery items, and beverages for her store.

Susa's story

A struggling “sari-sari” store – this is the kind of business that Susa operates. She has a lot of collectibles from her neighbors in Tigbauan, Iloilo. Many of her debtors pay after several weeks or months and it depletes her capital. But she cannot force them because she understands that money isn’t always easy to earn. It’s a good thing that her children are already grown-up and one of them is already working. She’s a widow who was able to raise her children well. And now her children are offering help by providing food daily and by doing the household chores.

Susa still aims to improve her variety store so it can earn enough for her needs. As much as possible, she doesn’t want to depend on her children, because sooner or later they will be starting their own families. She’s praying for 13,000 PHP in financial assistance that would be very helpful for her to buy additional inventory of dry goods, grocery items, and beverages for her store. You can be the answer to her prayers through your generous support. Thank you so much in advance.

Susa is an enthusiastic member of CCT where she gains inspiration from her co-fellowship* members who regularly meet once a week to study the Word of God and share stories of their life and businesses.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro finance loans.
