Salah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for necessary maintenance expenses in his house.
Salah is a 28-year-old, married father of two children. He is a Palestinian refugee who works hard to improve and develop his family's living. Salah was working in a hospital when he decided to start his own business because his family's needs were increasing and the limited monthly salary wasn't enough to cover these increasing needs. Because Palestinians have limited access to the working sector, he decided to work as a taxi driver in 2011 providing transportation services to nearby villagers, students and employees. Salah's current low income limits him from accomplishing several necessary things. Thus an acquired loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua will be used to pay for necessary maintenance expenses in his house, especially the bathroom, to make necessary ceiling and wall repairs to stop leakage before the coming winter season. He hopes to develop his working sector in the future and at the same time improve his family's living.
