Sopheab's Group's story

Sopheab is a 42-year-old married woman with 3 children, all attend school. She is a resident in Mondulkiri province.

Sopheab and her husband grow cassava for the main source of income and raise pigs to earn additional income. Cassava is being threatened by diseases and the yield is low. These are the main obstacles to the success of her cassava farming business.

She decided to form a 3-member group to apply for a loan from VisionFund, this is her first time. As the group leader, she will use her loan to buy organic fertilizer to remove weeds from her farmland. She hopes that the crop will grow and produce high outputs. She would like to renovate her house.
