Nav's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy fertilizer, to increase her rice yield and income, to enable her to send her kids to school.

Nav's Group's story

Nav, 29, is a resident of a rural village in Kampong Cham province. She has three children, one of whom is in school. She has been involved for 11 years in rice farming and working as a laborer at a garment factory, to earn her living. The crop has been destroyed by insect pests, so she cannot earn good income as she did before.

Due to having not enough working capital, she decided to lead a group to apply for a Kiva loan, via VisionFund Cambodia. This is the first loan cycle for her. Her group is comprised of two members. She is planning to use her loan portion to buy fertilizer, to increase the productivity of her rice crop. She hopes this loan will help her to gain more yield and income, to stabilize her business and enable her to send her young kids to school.
