A loan helped to build a hygienic latrine.

Vandy's story

Being a farmer, Vandy, who is a 47-year-old man, can only make $5 USD per day to support his family. Vandy resides in a rural area of Pursat Province, Cambodia. He has three children and one of them is married. He has been a farmer for 10 years now.

Because it is hard to find a place to go to the toilet, Vandy would like to get a low-interest loan from Kiva in order to build a hygienic latrine for his house. He is very happy with this loan since it will promote his health, environment, and living standards. He would like to thank all the lenders for their generosity in providing such a great loan for poor people like him.
