Razia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to fix a rickshaw for both her husband and son so they can continue their transportation services smoothly.

Razia's story

RAZIA is 47 years old, a married woman and mother of seven children. Her husband and son are driver by profession and provide transportation services using three-wheeled rickshaw. Both have been driving same rickshaw; father drives in day time and son drives at night. They have been driving single rickshaw for many years to meet the family's expenses, but now it requires proper maintenance to keep it in its functional routine.
For this reason, Razia has applied for a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan for both, her husband and son. They want to buy new tires and do a little bit of engine maintenance on vehicle. This will help them drive more smoothly and provide a better transport service to their passengers. She is hopeful that this loan will be a productive for both and will bring positive changes to their business.
She gives thanks to Kiva and to its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
