German's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a new assortment of industrial security products such as extinguishers, goggles, shirts and sweatpants.
German is a micro-entrepreneur who lives in Cartagena de Indias, a municipality in the department of Bolivar where he identified his business opportunity after the growing demand of construction and industrial companies who, by law, must buy industrial equipment to supply and offer a safe and effective protection to their employees at work. He offers these products at his store and also visits companies where he promotes a variety of gloves, helmets, goggles, clothing and everything related to industrial security. He has nine years of experience and a business strength which helps him cover his household needs. German is applying to his first Kiva loan thru the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation, to invest in a new assortment of industrial security products such as extinguishers, goggles, shirts and sweatpants, with the goal to expand his product lines and encourage sales. His goal in the future is to expand his client base and to reach new companies.
