Ana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more groceries to sell.

Ana's story

Ana opened a small grocery shop in Timor-Leste a few years ago with her own money. She did so because she doesn’t want the household to be overly dependent on her husband’s income for its maintenance.

Ana has applied for a 1,000 USD loan through Kiva's field partner Tuba Rai Metin to buy more groceries to sell, such as sardines, milk, noodles, candles, biscuits, eggs, salt, soft and hard drinks and other things to sell. Because she lives near a well-populated area, she has plans to open a bigger store that will keep in stock merchandise according to her customers’ demands.
