A loan helped Purchase of a mini-bus.

Paz's story

Mr. Paz A. works as a mason during the days, and in the evenings he drives a mini-bus carrying passengers between El Alto and La Paz. The bus is his main source of income, helping him provide for his wife and two children. He lives in a house owned by his in-laws, which is located in the Los Andes area of the city of El Alto. The mini-bus which he drives now is in very poor condition, and he is trying to sell it. He plans to buy a newer one, in better condition, which will cost him $3,500. He has saved up $2,500 towards the purchase, and is requesting a loan of $1,000 to complete the purchase amount. This will enable him to continue his transport business. This is the second loan he has requested from Impro. The first one was repaid on time, and for that reason they are offering him a second one.
