Ali's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for his own house's necessary construction, and floor tiles expenses.

Ali's story

Ali is a 22-year-old Palestinian refugee, who works and lives in a Palestinian refugees camp, just like most Palestinians living in Lebanon. Ali has been working as house painter on his own since 2006, with eleven years of experience, since he had to quit school and start work experience at the age of eleven. Ali is building his future house, he is planning to settle and make his own small family he dreaming about. Unfortunately, his business income isn't enough to cover these increasing construction needs and expenses. He decided to acquire a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua to pay for his own house's necessary construction, and floor tiles expenses. This is Ali's third loan cycle with Al Majmoua, his previous loans were invested in paying for maintenance expenses in his parents house, and he proved to be a good standing borrower.
