Norn's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seeds to increase her crop yields, so that she can increase her income and ability to keep sending her children to school.

Norn's Group's story

Norn, 28, is a married mother of two dependent children, one of whom is in school while the other one is too young to attend school, living in Kampong Cham province. Nowadays, she grows rice as the main source of her family’s income for ten years. Tailoring clothes is an additional source of income for her to complement her family’s need. She is able to earn around 12 USD per day. Due to the depreciation of her crop price is the main challenge for her in earning income to support her family.

Now, Norn is leading a group to take a new loan via VisionFund and this is the first Kiva loan for her. As a group leader, she is willing to use her loan portion to buy seeds and pay for plowing fee to increase her crop yields. She hopes this loan will help her to increase her income and ability to keep sending her children to school.
