Natia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase stocks of clothing and start her trading business.

Natia's story

Natia, who is 33 years old married woman, lives in Kutaisi city. She has husband and school-aged daughter and son. Natia works at the local kindergarten and gets a small monthly income, that is really hardly enough to meet even basic needs of her family.

Natia decided to be involved in a trading business and make her work more profitable. She sought for credit among local financial institutions, but her attempts was unsuccessful because of her poor living conditions.

The startup program, that is joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables poor people to get a loan for starting or re-starting businesses. Her application was approved under the framework of this program to get a loan of 1600 GEL purchasing a stock of clothing and start selling in her community. Natia will get the chance to earn income, make better living condition and provide a good education for her children.
Natia awaits Kiva lenders support and kindness.
