Linnet's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to receive and sell 100 units of BrightBox to both rural and urban end-users in Kenya.

Linnet's story

Linnet, pictured above, has a strong passion for One Degree Solar and the BrightBox. Linnet is 40 years old and lives with her two daughters, who she is very close with. Linnet has a strong passion for the renewable energy sector, as she wants to see a Kenya where kerosene is non-existent and her children can live in a less polluted community. Not only does Linnet want to sell One Degree Solar products, but she also wants to educate as much of the community as she can about the benefits of using solar products, as she feels education and raising awareness on solar is the best way to help eradicate kerosene. Through a Kiva loan, Linnet will be able to purchase 100 solar kits, which will allow her to increase her inventory to serve more customers, providing solar solutions to as many people as possible. Linnet is a trusted member of her community and One Degree Solar sees tremendous potential in her ability to sell and be a great brand ambassador for BrightBox and future products.
