Heim's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy weedicide so that the cassava crop can grow healthily and earn her more income, which will enable her to keep sending her children to school.

Heim's Group's story

A 43-year-old mother who lives in Mondulkiri province, Heim has four children, two of whom are in school. Her family’s income comes from cassava growing, which she and her husband have been involved in for 10 years. To meet the family’s needs, especially the children’s education, she spends her spare time working for others for a fee to earn additional income. Recently, her crop has been unhealthly and it produces lower outputs than her expected.

Since she wants to support the family’s business, she formed a group of three members to apply for a loan from VisionFund. Previously, she has been with VisionFund once and that loan enabled her to afford to buy school materials and improve her living conditions. As the group leader for this new loan, she will use her loan portion to buy weedicide so that the cassava crop can grow healthily. She hopes she can increase her income to uplift the family's lifestyle and keep sending her children to school.
