A loan helped to buy cashew nuts to process and sell.
Cristina Patricia's story
Cristina, who is 21 years old, went to school through sixth grade. She is the single mother of two children. She lives with her sisters, but only her children depend on her economically. Cristina has been selling cashews for three years. She learned the business from her mother, because she did this work all her life. She sells roasted nuts in the capital, and she works in this business along with her sister. She will use the loan to buy cashew nuts to process and sell, because in this season they are more expensive, and thus she will take advantage of this to obtain more earnings. Cristina has always dreamed of raising her children, having her own house, and improving her economic condition.
