Lari Pioneer Vegetable Processors (C.b.o) Group's story

The man raising his hand is called James. He is 49 years old, married and living with his wife and his four children. He joined Hand in Hand in the year 2013 so as to benefit from the trainings especially enterprise development.

James practices farming of potatoes and kale. He also buys and sells vegetables in the nearest market. He has applied for a Kiva loan to buy fertilizer and certified vegetable seeds so as to improve the quality and increase vegetable production. This, he hopes, will enable him to earn more income to meet his family's expenses e.g. food and clothing.

He is grateful to Kiva and their lenders for the financial support. He promises to repay promptly.
