Tomás's story

Tomás is a hard-working, honest and humble man. He is 42 years old, married and has a loverly family of five children between the ages of 3 and 16 years old. This dear family lives in a community of Chichicastenango. He is a responsible, determined and enthusiastic father, because to get an income he used to work as a bricklayer but his country had a job crisis and he was left unemployed. This was his motive to work as a carpenter and thanks to this job his family lives without necessities. His job as a carpenter has surprised many people because he makes good-quality furniture in pretty styles. This has benefited Tomás, so he needs to ask for a loan that he will use to buy carpentry materials and wood. He is doing this in order to better meet his customer's needs. Tomás's big dream is that his carpentry becomes much bigger.
