Currently in its ninth round, the group is beginning to understand the program.

Mrs. Penda Hamidou, (standing at the far right raising her hand), is at 20 years old the group's featured borrower. She is the married mother of one child, and is active at selling goats and sheep.

With her new loan, she will buy buy 52,500 francs' worth of goats and 25,000 francs' worth of sheep for retail sales.
