A loan helped to buy sheep.

Coumba's Group's story

The Medina Bissy banc villageois was established in July 2011. It consists of women who come from the same village and others from the surrounding villages. Their business is mainly in the agricultural sector.

Salla Malick is on the far right of the photo with her hand raised and is the lead borrower. She has been in the breeding business for many years. She buys sheep and then resells them during religious festivals.

She plans to buy five sheep for 35000f each and food for them valuing 15000f. The profits will allow her to strengthen her business and meet the family's needs.
