Fatoumata's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy five 20-liter bottles of honey for 1,000 FCFA per liter to resell at retail and to pay 15,000 FCFA for its transport.

Fatoumata's Group's story

This banc villageois was created on December 14, 2010. This group just started its ninth loan cycle and consists of women who all live in the same village. They enjoy a good relationship and group spirit. They are in small businesses. Mrs. Fatoumata (standing to the far right with her hand raised) is the star borrower of the group. She is a married mother of one girl. She sells honey. With this new loan, she plans to buy five 20-liter bottles of honey for 1,000 FCFA per liter to resell at retail and to pay 15,000 FCFA for the transport. With the profits, she plans to contribute to the family’s daily expenses.
