Jacobo Antonio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy coffee plants of organic origin, organic manure and other necessary expenses to convert his coffee crops to organic.

Jacobo Antonio's story

Jacobo is 42 years old. He works in agriculture, specifically producing coffee with more than 20 years experience in the field. He is married to Rosa Isabel and has five children under his care. Jacobo and his wife work hard to give their children all they need. Their dream as a matrimony is to see all their children grow up to be good people.

Jacobo at present is interested in a practice that has become very popular in the region and that is the production of organic coffee. This technique allows production of a higher quality coffee which in the end is sold at better prices. It makes farms more sustainable, protects the soil and doesn't damage the environment.

Jacobo is requesting a loan to begin the process of organic certification for his coffee plantation. So he has decided to replant and start the process with totally new plants. With the profits obtained from the organic coffee Jacobo will have sufficient income so that his children don't go wanting.

A loan will help Jacobo replant and certify his coffee plantation. This will allow him to sell his coffee at higher prices, care for the environment and provide his children with opportunities for their future..
