Sahiba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy salon equipment, sacks of charcoal, and more water to resell.

Sahiba's story

Sahiba, who is in her early 30s, is married and has three children. Two of them are at school and one of them is still small. Sahiba has been running three projects: selling charcoal, running a salon, and selling water for six years now. She works from 8 am to 8 pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit. This will be Sahiba's 12th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy more salon products and sacks of charcoal and to fill her water tanks with water to sell. She has managed to pay back all her loans successfully. Sahiba is happy with the loans and appreciates Kiva lenders for their support. She used her profits to pay school fees and to buy a TV set, radio, and cupboards, as well as to repay her loans and cover household expenses. She dreams of owning a catering business. Sahiba will make sure she pays back this loan within the scheduled timeframe.
