Kunduz's story

Kunduz is 42 years old, married, and together with her husband is raising five children. Kunduz has a secondary education. For the past 20 years, she has been engaged in agriculture. She has an exemplary family: everyone amicably helps around the farm. Kunduz began 20 years ago with a livestock purchase of 5,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, Kunduz today has four cows on her homestead, and also works 1.0 hectare of rented land and 0.60 hectares of her own land, where she grows vegetables each year. Monthly income amounts to 7,700 som (KGS).

With the aim of further developing her homestead, Kunduz applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to purchase livestock for increasing her herd and part of the money will go for farming.

Kunduz plans to invest income from the loan in further augmenting her business and completion the construction of a home.
