Maricela Beatriz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy fizzy drinks, sweets, yucca and potatoes, etc. to make snacks.
Maricela Beatriz's story
Maricela is 23 years old. She studied up until 9th grade. She is married and her partner is a day working in the coffee fields in the area. They have one child of preschool age who is the only person who depends financially on them. Maricela has a small café where she sells snacks and other products. She has done this for a year. She learned this from her mother. Maricela decided to start her own business to help her husband with the family as previously she was only looking after her child and doing the household tasks. The small café is in the centre of the community where she lives and her partner helps her in the evenings after work. The loan will be used to buy fizzy drinks, sweets, yucca and potatoes, etc. to make snacks. This will help her improve her earnings as she will be getting her products at a better price by buying them in bulk. Maricela dreams of making her business grow and giving her child a good education in order to see him become a professional one day. She could achieve this by investing the earnings of her business to give her family a better quality of life.
