Martin's story

Martin is 54 years old and lives in Kapan city in Syunik region. Martin is married and has three daughters -- two of them are married and live with their families and his youngest daughter works as a teacher at the local school. Martin and his wife have been running a business for 5 years, selling fruits and vegetables. He sells potato, tomato cabbage, cucumber, garlic, onion, greens, and also apricot, apple, watermelon, plum, etc.). He sells from a rented space in one of the central streets of the city. Martin buys his stall’s products from the farmers of nearby villages and chooses only fresh tasty products that attract his customers from the distance. This couple works from early morning till late at night without holidays in order not to lose any of their customers. Martin now needs this Kiva loan, as he wants to enlarge the assortment of his vegetables and especially fruits that are of great demand in this summer season.
