Total loan: $450
Honiara, Capital Territory, Solomon Islands / Agriculture
Teresia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a scale, net, nails, shovel, and drum for her cocoa drying business.
Teresia is 38 years old and married with six children. She lives in a rural community on the outskirts of Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands. She buys cocoa beans and sells them to the cocoa agents to earn a living, and has been doing this for three years. Teresia requested a loan to buy new materials such as a scale, net, shovel, nails and drum to improve her cocoa drying shed. She hopes to cover her family's weekly expenses with the profit that she makes with her business. She recently joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services.
