Seny's Group's story

Created the 23rd of December, 2014, on the occasion of its inception. The 'banc villageois' is made up of women who wish to improve their living conditions through revenue-generating businesses. They have lived in the same village for several decades and maintain relationships of solidarity and mutual assistance. They are involved in small business.

Madame Seny (seated at the far right with her left hand raised) is the featured loan recipient of the group. She is married and a mother of 4 children. She is 24 years old and is active in peanut butter sales.

With her new loan, she plans to buy 3 sacks of peanuts (at 11,000f) to make into peanut butter to sell retail.

The profits will allow her to diversify and to develop her business as well as to take care of her children.
