William Patricio's story
William is a young Ecuadorian man who was born in Mulalío parish, which is part of Latacunga canton. He is 22 years old, single, and lives in his own house with his parents in a rural area in this sector, which is very well-known for its dairy production. He has his store in this sector and, in addition, he works as a laborer. With his parents' efforts, he was able to finish university. Due to his family's difficult economic situation, he has to work since he was very little and so be able to be a great support for him and his family. He has experienced the difficult situation of not being able to find work due to the lack of opportunities, but despite this, he has not given up and he has gotten ahead with his little business. This store was left to him by his mother who, due to health reasons, couldn't run it and now she works making bread at home. For the moment, he asks for a loan parallel to the one that Fundación Alternativa granted him, which he will use to purchase more merchandise for his small store, and with this will improve his income and, in the end, his profits. His greatest dream is that at some point he will be able to purchase a car since it will help him get around. And now William wants to extend a sincere thank you and greetings to Kiva for making possible the growth in his work and personal life.
