Keang's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy fertilizer, organic pesticide, and pay for labor fees to support her cassava farm.
Keang's Group's story
A mother of two schoolchildren living in Kampong Cham province, Keang is 37 years old. For her family’s living, she grows cassava on a one-hectare area as her single main source of income. She can get only a little income from her cassava farm because her cassava does not grow well. She has been involved in her business for five years and it earns her about 29,700 KHR per day. This is Keang's third cycle with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner) and she has fully repaid her past loans completely. With her previous loan, she could get a decent income to improve her living conditions. In a group of two, she is the group leader. She will spend her entire loan portion to buy fertilizer, organic pesticide and pay for labor fees to support her cassava farm. She hopes that her cassava will produce a better yield than last year.
