Shushan

Shushan is 44 years old and she lives in Lchashen village of Gegharkunik region. She is married and she lives with her husband. Their son now is in the Russian Federation doing different constructional jobs and he greatly supports his family with finances from there. Their daughter is already married and she lives with her family. Shushan used to work as a baker at the bread factory but now she is fully engaged in farming. On her farm she has a cow, calves and chickens. She sells her farm’s milk, macun (national dairy-product) and eggs right from her house mainly to her neighbors and friends. Shushan also is good in land cultivation and her land’s potatoes are very tasty and she sells them right from her farm. So in order to develop and keep her potato cultivation, with this loan she wants to buy potato seedlings and also some fodder for the cattle mini farm.
