A loan helped to pay for her gall bladder operation, in order to improve her health so that she can continue to help her mother with household expenses.

Anonymous's story

This young woman is very hard-working, but about a month ago she became ill and was diagnosed with an inflammation of the gall bladder. Her doctor recommended that she have an operation immediately, in order to prevent complications, and she is requesting a loan to pay for the operation. She is 21 years old, single, and has no children. She lives with her grandparents, and has been helping her mother with household costs since she was an adolescent, as she and her three siblings were abandoned by her father. As she is the eldest child, she chose to work in dressmaking workshops in order to earn money to help her mother with costs. She has purchased some sewing machines, thanks to help from her grandparents, and has opened her own workshop making sports clothing. She hopes to receive the loan so that she can pay for the medical costs of the operation, and continue working in order to support her mother and her three younger siblings.
