Muhammad's Group's story
Muhammad and his group members are farmers. They are permanent residents of Chadyala, a far flung town in district Gujranwala in Pakistan. Muhammad and his group members grow rice and wheat crops on their land. The soil of the region is very fertile and suitable for rice, provided that a right mix of agricultural inputs is utilized during and after cultivation. Unfortunately, the group members have a very small land holding and do not have finances available to purchase the required quantity of seeds, fertilizers, fuel, and pesticides. Muhammad and his group members are requesting a loan, which they will use to buy agriculture inputs. This loan will help them to improve their yield and farm income.
