A loan helped to purchase fertilizers and other inputs for crop farming.

Pyi Taw Thar Village Group 2's story

The fund will help 30 group members. The featured borrower, Tin, is 37 years old and married. She has a son in primary school and Tin is excited for her son to have a big developed future. She sometimes helps her husband on their ten acres of crop farm and Tin as well does tailoring in the village along with household chores. She is purchasing fertilizer and other inputs for crop farming with the help of Proximity's loan.

The family hopes to have improvements in their cropping system this year and also boost the mostly income.

Pyi Taw Thar Group 2 is overseen by five CBO members, named Tin, Hla, Khin, Aye and Chaw (pictured above). The whole group involves 30 village customers and they will be helped to purchase gas and fertilizer for their farms from Proximity's loan.

The village is located in the Ayeyarwaddy Delta Region in Upper Myanmar. They mainly focus on crop farming and also do plantations.
