Rehema's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped buy more cloth.
Rehema is 35 years old and lives in the town of Mbarara in the Mbarara region of Uganda. She is married and has three children who are all currently in school. For the past 10 years, Rehema has been working hard to manage her tailoring business, for which she sews clothes. To help expand her business, Rehema has requested a loan of 3,500,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more cloth, and will help Rehema to generate greater profits and increase her family's income. Rehema hopes that in the future she will be able to own a bigger shop. Rehema is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Rehema who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
