Auk Ywar Ka Lay Village's story

The fund will help 21 village customers. The Featured Borrower, Aye is 45 years old, married, and has two children who are helping the parents in the farm. Aye is a hardworking man and has been in this business from last 5 years. Like many farmers in this area, Aye has to struggle a lot for savings before the harvest season. Proximity's loan will help him purchase the necessary farming inputs such as fertilizers and gases for farming machines . These inputs are vital for his crop farming to increase yield. Aye plans to boost the income by starting up a second business as planting the seasonal foods and flowers. Income from plantations will be used as investments in crop. He hopes his hard work will let him achieve the dream of purchasing paddy fields for his two children.
