Dania's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy dairy cattle to breed and fatten and with the profits she will expand the stable.
Dania is a 23 year old woman, single, without children. Her business is trading in sheep and pigs. She is enterprising, independent, optimistic, loyal, responsible and hardworking. She started her business in Batallas which is situated at an altitude of 3735 meters above sea level and at a distance of 65 kilometers from the city. Dania has a dark complexion, brown eyes, long black hair worn braided. She is short with a thin physique. She dresses traditionally (hat, blanket, and skirt). Her mother tongue is Aymara which she speaks at home and she speaks Spanish culturally and for business purposes. She shares her life with her parents who work in agriculture. They live in their own house built of adobe, brick, and cement with a corrugated iron roof and a cement floor. They have well water withdrawn by pumping, and electricity. She is in the business of the trade of sheep and pigs. She breeds and fattens them, taking care of vaccinations, feed, water, etc.” Of the sheep, only the lambs are used for the consumption of meat, while on the other hand all the pigs are intended to be eaten,” she comments. The advantage of her business is that her livestock sells constantly. The disadvantage is the lack of capital for the purchase of livestock for breeding and fattening. Her dream is to improve the stable for her livestock by expanding it and to buy dairy cattle for breeding and fattening. This is the first sequence of loans with the institution in the four years since she started this work. It is for these reasons that Dania is asking for a loan to buy dairy cattle to breed and fatten and she will expand the stable with the profits.
