Kelebogile's story

Kelebogile is a Business Management Student at the Maharishi Institute and was asked the following questions by a staff member of the Institute: This is her story:1. What do you study at the Maharishi Institute? Which classes do you enjoy the most? I am currently doing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and this is my 4th year. The class I enjoy the most is Marketing class because in Marketing I liked the way you get to broaden your mind and be creative. 2. What are your goals after graduating from the Maharishi Institute? Please be specific: in which sector do you expect to work? In which city would you like to work? Would you like to travel? My goal after graduating from the Maharishi Institute is to work in the corporate world in one of the biggest companies in South Africa. I know that I can do this because the Maharishi Institute aims to produce the best students ever and we get qualifications that not everyone can get. They don’t want to us to just earn the qualification, they are building and creating the best out of us and that way I want to be in the best company, where I will be able to learn and get the best experience. 3. Tell us about your background. Where were you born? Do you have brothers and sisters? What do your parents do for work? Are you married; do you have children? I was born in a family of five; 3 sisters and 1 brother. I live with my mother and she is unemployed. I don’t have a child and I am not married. 4. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I do some volunteering work in my community where we teach children how to play different instruments and help them with their school work . 5. How will Kiva loan change your life? Describe how the loan will affect your studies and your lifestyle: will there be significant changes? The Kiva loan will change my life in a good way because I come from a family were no one is working. With the Kiva loan I will be able to use that money for transport to come to school so that I won’t be absent most of the time as I am often at the moment.
